“Good day Jaco
Armscor would like to extend their appreciation with regards to the stellar presentation that was provided. We could not have requested for a more relevant topic that touches on aspects of personal and business. The feedback we have received so far indicates that the event will attract a bigger audience next time mainly due to your presentation. The audience was captivated and have requested that we make available your presentation to them.
We really appreciate and hopefully you can allow us as opportunity to learn from you going forth.
Thanks so much to the ACFE, its truly a world standard organization.”

Hope this email finds you well.
As the HSRC and the Enterprise Risk Management Unit, we’d like to express our gratitude to you and the entire ACFE SA in the work that you are doing; the support you continue to give organisations who are in the fight against corruption. We had the privilege of hosting Mr Michael Sass to our event on 09 December, 2016, where he presented on Bribery, Kickbacks and Corruption. This was a greatly informative session and so much knowledge was shared.
It is important to raise awareness on fraud and corruption and the different ways that these can take place and make staff aware. The event of Friday was proof that more of these events had to take place.
Thank you so much, Janine, for referring us to Mr. Sass in the absence of Mr. de Jager; truly appreciate it and may this is not be our last engagement.”
20 January 2017
It would look funny!
It might seem late!
But in Tanzania, we have a saying: better late than never!
So today before my next birthday, I have decided to write what I had wanted to write long ago!
Probably, had I written it soon after I left Sandton, my letter would have been one of “them”,
But them who go and never come up,
Those who go up and never look back at the steps that took them up,
They will always know the importance of those steps, when they are not there,
Because they are not there to lead them down!
That’s why those who humbly go up, do not find it difficult to go down,
Because the steps are there for them!
FIRST OF ALL,
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2017!!!
THANKS FOR ALL YOU DID,
FOR THE PROFESSION,
FOR MY CAREER!!
J DE JAGER
