The Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa (FPI) is a South African Qualifications Authority recognised professional body for financial planners in South Africa. The Southern African Institute of Government Auditors is recognised as a professional body by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) for the purposes of the National Qualifications Framework Act, Act 67 of 2008. The professional designation “Registered Government Auditor” (RGA) is registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) for the purposes of the NQF Act of 2008.
The Auditor-General South Africa (AGSA) recognised the RGA qualification as a professional qualification in the Auditor-General Office.
